A RAD MYKONOS GUIDE

OUR FAVORITE PLACES

We've put together some of the places we enjoyed during our stay in Mykonos, one of our favorite islands in Greece. Get inspired with our mini guide for you and enjoy your vacations.

WHERE TO STAY

Royal Myconian Resort

Located in Elia, 5 minute downhill walk to Elia beach, it's an upbeat, fancy and modern resort with excellent service. Enjoy a great breakfast in the morning with an amazing view. The restaurant is so yummy and has a large funky pool with led lights inside which makes it look so sparkly and dreamy. Enjoy your cocktails by the pool bar!

LYO boutique hotel

Located close to Super Paradise beach, which is famous for the legendary ongoing parties, you can lay back and relax at this super cute boutique hotel. Boho and chill vibes with a stunning restaurant.

Pietra e Mare

Boutique hotel with spacious little apartments, located in Kalo Livadi. A minimal and elegant style with an incredible terrace and large hammocks to lay back. Go down to Kalo Livadi beach, which is a 5 minute downhill walk, and enjoy hip vibes and lots of water sport options.

WHERE TO EAT

Alemagu

The famous all day beach bar/restaurant located on Ftelia beach, offers amazing food choices from a mediterranean cuisine. Beautiful relaxing set up and excellent music with a boheme feel.

LYO Mykonos

Located in LYO boutique hotel, Super Paradise area. Superb sushi by the chef of the restaurant and unique cocktails at a relaxed setting next to the pool.

  Lotus

Resto bar -  a true gem.  located at the heart of Mykonos (Chora) in a little, narrow, traditional alley with a great atmosphere. Brilliant choices for lunch, dinner and cocktails.

Also, Kostantis on Ornos beach and Nikolas at Agia Anna - Paraga. Both are located on the beach and have a traditional touch with Greek kitchen, great tastes and excellent service. Value for money.

WHERE TO SWIM

Mykonos, apart from the party life, is known for the many amazing beaches, so it is really hard to pick. These are our personal favorites.

 Agios Sostis beach

We are actually referring to the tiny gulf right next to Agios Sostis beach. The sand is golden, the waters crystal clear and the energy just right. There are no sun beds or umbrellas, so make sure to bring your own. And don't forget to lunch at Kikis tavern, just drop by to give your name at the waiting list. There are no reservation and the wait is a bit long but it's worth it.

Agios Sostis Beach

Ftelia beach

Popular to wind-surfers, Ftelia bay is quiet, relaxing, dog friendly and with lots of space to pick and set up your own spot to chill. At the end of the bay, in a small gulf, you will find Alemagou beach/bar restaurant.

  Elia beach
The longest sandy beach of Mykonos, fully organized, offers anything you need from water sports to restaurants. Yet it is still quiet, with a nice crowd and clear blue waters.

WHAT TO PACK

Yes, you guessed right, swim and flip flops will be an everyday and all day outfit. Breezy cute dresses, skirts and crop tops are always a must. It might get a little windy at night so take a longsleeve top with you.
