MANDY FRAGKIADAKI
Owner of Mf Pole Studio in Athens, she is a Greek pole dance instructor/
performer and active athlete. A former sailing National Champion with many
European and World medals! In 2010, she discovered pole dancing as an
alternative way of exercice so she installed a pole at her basement and started
practicing on her own, with Youtube videos as guidance. Soon, hobby became
passion! Since then she devoted herself to this alternative way of training,
attended many workshops with pole stars and discovered her inclination to
choreography. Combining her experience in sports and dance she created a
unique way of teaching pole dancing.

Do you follow any specific routine when youʼre preparing for a competition?
- Starting with general strengthening on/off the pole,
- trying new pole moves and/or floorwork,
- Working on technique,
- working on floorwork
- working on pole combos
- Building Choreo,
- Performing parts of choreo,
- rehearshing the final choreo
- reherashals, rehearshals, rehearshals,
FINAL rehearshal with costume... and suddenly you're on stage, competing!
What other hobbies do you have?
