Hello everyone this is Maro! Iʼm founder, co-owner and instructor of Cloud9 Poledancing. For as long as I can remember myself, dancing was my main emotional getaway. Discovered pole dancing in 2010 and boom! Got a pole, taught myself how to move with it and my life changed forever! Life as a pole artist has given me some of the most beautiful moments, valuable lessons and strong friendships for which I am forever grateful. As long as my body is kind enough to carry me, pole dancing is my home.

What do you love about RAD?

What I love about Rad is that it was one of the first pole brands in the industry, made from pole dancers and very cool people! Always high quality and inspired designs that are friendly to all body types.

Tell us a funny story from a pole competition

I remember me and my friend Plousia competing in Pole Art Italy 2016 with all the “beasts” of the pole industry. So many of them were warming up backstage like pulling legs behind their heads, doing backbends and crazy oversplits, shoulders almost dislocating and the list goes on. So Plousia turns at me (Iʼm just streching my fingers) and goes: “Malaka, quick! letʼs do the splits and then you grab my leg and pull it behind my head. We need to fit in!” Hahaha it cracks me up every time I think about it!
